The Austrian Club in London has been established in 1984, in association with the Austrian Ambassador in London to maintain and upkeep the “Austrian Spirit” amongst the Austrian expatriates in London and UK nationals with a strong bond to Austria. 

Our values have not changed since then – creating a common ground for Austrians and friends of Austria to socialise, enjoy events with an Austrian “Flair” and assist each other in all walks of life, whether it is with advice, career guidance, business referrals, help with accommodation or on where to find the perfect ingredients for a special Austrian speciality. We are very pleased and proud of our association with the Austrian Embassy, the Cultural Forum, the Trade Commission and other Austrian organisations in the UK and we can look back to many successful joint-ventures.

We have been working hard to offer a variety of events, networking-evenings, outings and functions to suit all our members’ tastes and will convince non-members and friends of Austria to join our Club and stay with us for years to come.

Our aim and objective is to make the Club attractive for all generations and not only to bring a piece of “Heimat” to us Austrians abroad but give friends of Austria the opportunity to experience the warmth of Austrian hospitality, to learn appreciating “the Austrian way” and by doing so, gain new friends, acquire new business and simply have fun.
